David Lopez is a Junior who joined the Wolfpack Times this year. He is in a class filled with seniors who will help him bring out his hidden potential from his writing, his interviewing, and his leadership skills. David is in the jv basketball team for MACES and has been a part of the team since his freshman year and has shown his skills and potential on the basketball court. With being on a sports team, he knows what it takes to be a leader, as well as a team player, and how to help out others when they’re in need of assistance. This year he’s taking on a new challenge with being a part of the Wolfpack Times club, and he looks forward to the new and exciting moments he can have with this class. Having had Mr. Cottom in his sophomore year, he has some chemistry with the teacher, and sees him as a great English teacher who truly prepares many students for college, as well as intrigues others with interest in careers in Journalism, in poetry, and in many other writing careers. David is hopeful for a great and enjoyable year in the class, and is eager to begin writing his first of many stories for the Wolfpack Times.
