As I start my first year in journalism I'm very excited to be a part of the journalism team. before I head out to college as I start my senior year . I love sports such as wrestling and track. I play both sports for MACES ,and I will put 110 percent into journalism. I'll be starting my senior year, and I’m very anxious about my last year of high school and my first year of journalism .
Braden Kimbel Baltazar, Photography editor
Braden Baltazar is an optimistic new sophomore and a new staff member in the Wolfpack Times. He enjoys taking sky and moon photos in his free time! What inspired him to pursue photography was that he wanted to capture not only beautiful sceneries but memories as well. Braden is thinking about joining soccer or the wrestling team, though he is still unsure which to join due to both sports being in season at the same time. His goal is to eagerly improve his photography skills. He is determined through his ambition, to become one of the main photographers for the Wolfpack Times.
Benjamin Ramirez, A&E Broadcast Editor
Benjamin Ramirez is a senior who has attended MACES since the 7th grade and has been part of the Wolfpack Times since his junior year. A skilled writer, Ramirez has published multiple stories for the newspaper. Returner on the MACES wrestling team being a returner. Ramirez’s hobbies include going to the gym, participating in clubs, and being very keen on sports. He will be taking over the position of A&E Editor using his skills and dedication to give the students of MACES high-quality pages. Ramirez is very outgoing and outspoken, often enjoying debates and public speaking. His goal this year is to help build the Wolfpack Times to become a more appreciated part of the Wolfpack.
Shazia Shah, Editor in Chief
Shazia Shah is a senior who has been on the Wolfpack Times since she was just in eighth grade. This year she is taking up the position of Editor in Chief. Shah has spent the past few years learning more and more about journalism and is using her skills to continue taking on the role of editor-in-chief. She is very outspoken and straightforward which she believes puts her in the perfect spot to lead her fellow editors. Shah wants to help others learn about and become interested in journalism, She is excited to work with her fellow editors this year and hopes to make memories and bond with them. Shah wants to contribute to the Wolfpack Times this year by leaving a good foundation for new students joining in the future.
