Prom is coming very soon and seniors are getting their suits and dresses. Prom tickets this year are $125 now, but the prices will be going up. Get some money, suits, and dresses ready, because the prom is on May 25. The prom tickets are very overpriced, and many seniors may need help to pay for them, especially if they are buying two.
Some seniors have hand-me-down suits, but others have to buy their suits and dresses, so the total of both tickets and suits or dresses can come up to a large sum of money.
“I believe that prom is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we as seniors should all experience since we are all in our youth,” Yahir Jauregui, a senior said. Prom tickets can sell out very quickly, “I plan on buying my tickets as soon as possible because it is the last day to buy tickets and I want to go,” Jauregui said. Tickets are expensive, but the experience may be worth it so seniors this year should go.
“I like the prom theme, but I think that masquerading them would’ve been better. I do know that the time is at 5 p.m.,” Ernesto Vela, a senior, said. He has the senior package but he is going to buy another ticket so he wants to buy it as soon as possible. The money for the tickets can be used for a lot of things, “I think that the money will be used for decorations, the venue, food, and things you need to buy for the school,” Vela said.
“I think that prom is honestly overrated and the prom tickets are from what I remember 100 but if you miss that window it’ll go up to 110 which is very expensive,” Brandon Yac, a senior said. Brandon also got the senior package so he will be going to prom. “I think that the prom tickets are $125 because of the location and the decorations, so I guess it makes sense the prom will take place at Long Beach by the Queen Mary but if a senior hasn’t gotten a suit the best place where I’m get my suit is central LA where the fashion industry is,” Yac said. Make sure to get suits, money, and dresses for prom.
