Ashley Melendez is a senior, a continuing member of the AVID program, and a new member of the Wolfpack Times. This year, her goal is to step out of her comfort zone and try new things as she approaches the end of her senior year. She has a strong interest in writing and hopes to major in Forensic Psychology after high school. One thing about Ashley is that you’ll never see her without her handheld fan. Though she might seem shy at first, she can quickly warm up to you once you get to know her. A little more about her is that she grew up speaking Spanish and playing piano as a little girl. When she’s not writing, Ashley enjoys spending time watching movies with her family, hanging out with friends, or even baking. Ashley also mentions that she loves traveling. She has an affection for animals, which she shares with her two dogs.
