Asucena Mendez is a sophomore who recently just joined the Wolfpack Times this year. This year she hopes to learn more about what goes into journalism and hopes to share her creativity that may interest people. She always takes interest in what's around her and enjoys visiting new places she hasn't seen before. Ever since she was young she has always been independent and taking care of her own well being. It does take some time to get to know her since she is awkward at times, but with time people can actually get to know her for how much of an admirable person she truly is. In her free time she enjoys reading romance novels and spending time with her family. After graduating high school she hopes to attend UCI and pursue a career in pediatric nursing.
