Angelie Perez, Broadcast editor
Angelie Perez is a senior at MaCES. This will be her first and only year in journalism. Perez has many interests including writing and storytelling. In her free time, she enjoys going on adventures or just staying home to journal. When she’s not doing school work she is almost always on the wrestling mat. In all, she hopes to bring a positive and brighter light to the Wolfpack Times. When Perez graduates she plans on going to college and becoming a travel nurse.

Shazia Shah, Editor in Chief
Shazia Shah is a senior who has been on the Wolfpack Times since she was just in eighth grade. This year she is taking up the position of Editor in Chief. Shah has spent the past few years learning more and more about journalism and is using her skills to continue taking on the role of editor-in-chief. She is very outspoken and straightforward which she believes puts her in the perfect spot to lead her fellow editors. Shah wants to help others learn about and become interested in journalism, She is excited to work with her fellow editors this year and hopes to make memories and bond with them. Shah wants to contribute to the Wolfpack Times this year by leaving a good foundation for new students joining in the future.

Benjamin Ramirez, A&E Broadcast Editor
Benjamin Ramirez is a senior who has attended MACES since the 7th grade and has been part of the Wolfpack Times since his junior year. A skilled writer, Ramirez has published multiple stories for the newspaper. Returner on the MACES wrestling team being a returner. Ramirez’s hobbies include going to the gym, participating in clubs, and being very keen on sports. He will be taking over the position of A&E Editor using his skills and dedication to give the students of MACES high-quality pages. Ramirez is very outgoing and outspoken, often enjoying debates and public speaking. His goal this year is to help build the Wolfpack Times to become a more appreciated part of the Wolfpack.

Emily Estrada, Editor-in-Chief
Emily Estrada is a senior at MACES and is a last-year returner of the Wolfpack Times team for the 2025-2026 school year. Estrada may seem quiet at first, but don’t let appearances fool you, she’s a warm and friendly person once you start a conversation. To find her on campus, take a peek inside Mr. Cottom’s classroom; she’s most likely working diligently to produce the newspaper. In her free time, you can find Estrada cozied up in bed with her dog, Tito, sipping matcha, and watching her favorite show, Gilmore Girls. As she enters her final year, she’s excited to leave her mark and make a positive impact on the club.
