Come and explore a new Q&A, where she expresses her thoughts on questions that will uncover answers for the upcoming school year!
Q: How do you plan to balance the diverse needs and interests of the student body while creating inclusive events and initiatives this year?
A: “We use google forms to receive new recommendations from those who want to reach out. To reach students both outgoing/introverted, we use pep rallies to allow for any one to be involved and invite them out of their shell. We [also] use engaging games to involve all, like beach ball games, screams competition, and more.”
Q: What challenges have you identified in fostering school spirit, and how do you intend to address them throughout the school year?
A: “Although we see that there may be students with low spirits, we use pep rallies, random games, and engaging games to counter the low spirits that are there. When we see low spirits, we wanna use hype and Energy to change that.”
Q: How do you plan to involve more students in the leadership committee decisions and activities who typically aren’t engaged, like those who are new?
A: “We try to always account for new povs and everyone’s position on the subject or choice. I want to make sure we hear from all and new sides. This year, we have created multiple committees, such as athletics, that any student chooses to be a part of. I just want for everyone to have choice and comfortability.”
Q: Does inflation influence how much each event costs for you guys and students?
A: “Yes! Inflation affects us highly!! It really influences how much it costs us for every event. Our concessions highly account for our money distribution on what we need or create. So like the shirts you guys get in the homeroom, the events we make, and more. We always attempt to buy bulk items, but like obviously we are on a budget which makes it so much harder. We just want students to be aware of our [situation]! “
