Soccer Stars Rise as Cif Announces All First and Second Southern League Team Selections

On May 1st, CIF released their lists for All First and Second Southern League Soccer Team selections, amongst the 22 players selected, our school is proud to have 4 of our own on the list. Senior, Jason Rubio, and sophomore, Andres Gonzalez was selected for the All First Southern League Team. Alongside them, juniors, Jorge Irapan and Edwin Meza were selected for the All Second Southern League Team. Their coach, Coach Zepeda was filled with happiness when hearing 4 of his boys were selected, after their great season. “I was instantly filled with joy to hear my boys finally getting recognition for all their hard work,” Zepeda said.
