Since 2019, Kiana Tapia has been one of the many junior reporters for the Wolfpack Times. Wolfpack Times is the student news at Maywood Center for Enriched Studies. Kiana is a two year member of the MaCES Varsity Softball team, a member of the outstanding marching band, and a member of the helping interact club. She has played softball since she was a youth and she played the saxophone as a sophomore, but then had a change of heart and switched to the snare drum in drumline. She had been an Interact club member since 2019. Her secret obsession is going to Interact events, and getting the free shirts. In the year 2016, she found her desire to help others and to spread awareness about important events. Tapia is a future cali bear, where she will get her bachelorette ́s degree to be a primary school teacher, at the University of Berkeley. Kiana ́s future goals after highschool is to become a 2nd grade teacher, and helping out at animal shelters in her free time. You can reach Kiana through her email, [email protected] .
